pairing a bluetooth keyboard
Hi all, I’ve been trying to pair an apple bluetooth keyboard to my mbp for the last couple of days. When I get the pairing request dialog, it says enter the following code. I go to review the code and I have consecutive numbers from 1 to 8. I enter in what I believe to be the code which are the afforementioned numbers, and the pairing request fails every time. has anyone else had this issue under maverics? I just cannot get the thing to pair, no matter what I do. any help would be greatly appreciated. I remember that when I paired a Bluetooth keyboard under Lion I eventually had to get sighted help as the time out on the Mac Keyboard utility was so short that by the time I had navigated voiceover from the pair button to the part of the screen where I could read out the numbers I was due to enter I could not get them in in time.
