Hi all,
I'm now officially in school and so far so good. I like the way
blackboard works with the mac, but I'm having trouble finding instructions to get pages to properly format an research paper. All of the instructions that the college provides are for microsoft word. Can you help?
Thanks,
Justin

i think i resolved my problem of mail being moved from my inbox
on my mac when i first installed lion.
i deleted my bt account, set it up again and it just resolved the
issue i was having i think without me changing settings.
i tried changing to pop3 rather than imap only i couldn't get
pop3 but i now believe i have my problem sorted anyway.

Hello Justin,

Which format do you need? I can send you a template for APA or
for MLA.

If you need a lesson on how to use them, we do that via Skype for
?25.

Cheers,

Anne

Hello all:
last week there were some messages about moving text with VO in a
document. Somebody advised to use CMD Arrows to go to the beginning and end of lines and documents. But how to go one page up or down? If I use my fingers on the trackpad, Vo announces the next or previous page, but the cursor won't move. Any ideas to do a voiceover effective page up or down?
Thanks!

I experience the same problem. Despite Anne's very helpful
advice I am still not able to relocate the cursor either page up or down with the commands suggested.

Greetings,

I will soon acquire an iPhone 4S and had a couple of questions
about GPS solutions.

1. Although I know of Sendero Look-Around, I am wondering if
there is an app that works with something like Google Maps. It would really be even better if one could get turn-by-turn instructions.

2. I can't really make use of a GPS solution unless it works in
several countries. The appeal with regard to Google Maps is that this problem would be solved.

3. Lastly, approximately how much do the GPS solutions that work
with VoiceOver cost?

My thanks to all,

Mike

Mike,
Personally I think that Navigon s the best. First, it does have
the ability to work in Europe, and the U.S. Second, it's reasonably priced anywhere from $30 U.S at the low end, and $50 U.S at the high end. It doesn't use goggle maps, but it does use the navteq mapping solution. As far as i can recall, it has maps for , the U.S, Canada, Europe and I think Australia, but don't hold me to the later.
Hope this helps,
Justin

This is helpful indeed, Justin!

In terms of the maps, do you download entire regions prior to
using the software, or are the maps downloaded from the cloud as you travel through a given area?

Thank you very much,

Mike

I forgot to ask one other question, Justin: Is there an
accessible app for the iPhone or iPad that would allow one to use Google Maps?

Thanks again,

Mike
