Re: touch typing on iPad 3

2012-08-07 Thread Esther
Hi Diane,

You need to be in a text field -- somewhere you would be typing -- in order to
access the typing mode with the rotor. The easiest way is to start from the
home screen on the iPad and click the home button once so you are in the
Spotlight search field. Then use the rotor as Tommy suggested until you hear
"typing mode" and swipe up or down to select "touch typing". After you make
your selection use the rotor again to set it to some field where swiping up or
down won't change anything essential (such as your language or typing mode).
"Characters" is a good choice, or "Containers".

HTH. Cheers,

Esther

Subject: touch typing on iPad 3

Can someone tell me how to set up touch typing on an ipad? I have my
iPhone set up, but don't remember how it was done.
I looked in the setting/general/accessibility, and in keyboard, but
couldn't find how to do it.

Thanks,
Diane
