Re: [MacGroup] Apple ordered to share iPhone info

2016-02-17 Thread John Robinson
Thanks Beth, makes me sick what is happening to our freedoms in the last 7
years...

I didn’t send this group my message on the latest Android hack, going after
banking information, since the notice was already posted. I did send it out to
all the other folks.

In my office an employee won’t listen to anything I say about the Androids, he
thinks I am bias…well yes, and for a reason.

Fittingly on Tuesday he began getting messages on his Android from Credit Card
Security that they needed to talk to him. Since it didn’t say the name of his
bank he didn’t answer.

Another message, then Wed. morning another message. He called his bank and
they had put a hold on his Debit card as there was a charge of over $500.00
from a Walgreens in Chicago….

The bank also didn’t say it was a hack into a particular store or site where he
had shopped, this was an individual hack.

He only uses Windows at home and Android for he and his wife.

He never shops at Walgreens, so he has had someone get his account information
and PIN number…

With this ruling it will be no time before our secure Apple products are as
vulnerable as the Android system..

Why as a society do we leave our security up to the CEO’s of Google, Facebook,
Twitter, Apple and other tech companies, it looks like our citizens would be
livid over this…everything about my life is on the iPhone, I do that because I
trust Apple….
