[MacGroup] Canon Printer

2014-07-18 Thread Anne Cartwright
Canon Pixmar iP3600 bought back in 2012. It started scrunching the paper. Still
works find printing envelopes.

Lots of Ink:
Black 220
Black 221
Cyan 221
Magenta 221
Yellow 221

Any one interested and wanting to see if they can fix it? And/ or use the ink?

[MacGroup] Canon Printer

2015-12-27 Thread John Robinson

Harry was good enough to tell us Murphy’s Camera offering a Canon Professional
printer for $199.00 with a $200.00 rebate from Canon…Free is good.

They were backordered but still got it on 12-24-15. I have just tried to
install, I downloaded Canon’s Network software and their latest print drivers…

Once inside the network setup the only connection choice is USB, and when
filling out their support form they only choices are USB, Firewire, and a few
others but NOT Ethernet.

I also cannot “send” the support form…so, I am somewhat stuck.

Anyone else purchase one and connected with Ethernet?

I will be returning if the machine doesn’t have an Ethernet connection…yet
there is an Ethernet plug so it makes no sense.

I have always stuck with Epson and been super happy, I guess I am understanding
why.

Thanks for suggestions.

[MacGroup] Canon Printer Ink

2007-12-05 Thread Anne Cartwright
Anyone use a Canon printer that takes Canon black ink cartridge #8.
Thanks to Canon's poor Web page information and Office Depot, I have
one and maybe two to give away.

I have a different Canon printer that uses the same ink. I'll happily take
the cartridges. Thanks!

Do you see anything like TCP/IP. If it's there, it may need to be enabled.

Plug it in to the network and see of it grabs an IP address from your router.
If it does, type that into a web browser and it may give you a configure page.

Thanks Brian, nothing. Just ordered a long USB cable. Hopefully the printer
is a good one.
