But Nelson, then I still have to type, I just want to click. And remember,
if I want to print out a copy of the addressbook, the names come up at
random. i am used to having the names in the addressbook file themselves
into alphabetical order. I like to click on the address and the new message
button ,and the address appears automatically on the address box. How does
Entourage handle that problem? Marta

my address book allows me to assign a nickname to each entry.

i use lastnameFirstname as the nickname.
(it's easy to remember).

i klik "new message"
then type in lastnameFirstname
and I'm in business without having to find anything.

2003-02-15 Thread Marta Edie
Hi All, my idea to write last names in first name boxes to try to trick the
addressbook into giving me an alphabetical order I can live with, namely by
last names, did not work. Any other ideas? How do you all control your
address books - those of you who do use Outlook express? To type a name
into that little box and then highlight the name to write a message seems an
awfully round-about way, Marta
