I'll disable it today and see if that makes a difference. Restart your ibook and see if it cools any. Will do. I really don't mind this too much in the winter time. Over the past few months, my G4 iBook has been running progressively hotter. This weekend I installed Tiger, though I don't know if that's relevant. Now it's *really* hot. I feel sure I could fry an egg on the left front quarter. Is this a sign of impending hard drive death? Or something else?
