all we don't

have a "windows port list" or an "ubuntu port list" ...

No, but Apple a special case there is alot more divergence between the 
OSX Gui, and the Windows/Linux guis. And Apple seems much more likely to 
making changes in its new OS versions that scupper us java devs.

I think there's a need for a clarification. I already that kind message here, 
which made me wonder if macosx-port-dev was still alive and useful.
If almost all requests should be forwarded elsewhere, shouldn't the project be 
stopped?

OS X 10.10 Yosemite is out now and unless I missed something, Swing look and 
feel in new Java 7u72 / 8u25 wasn't prepared to welcome the changes in the user
