OpenSSH HPN currently on hiatus?
Hey all, I've been running openssh including the HPN variant. As of 6.2p1 (latest version) that no longer seems to exist however, although the variant is still listed as an option. An upgrade or install attempt simply fails with a 404 Not Found for all resources (trimmed log attached has the full list) and checking them in a browser confirms the URLs don't exist. This is separate from Ticket #38824, which reports a build failure I didn't see for 6.1p1. I checked the HPN-SSH project page (http://www.psc.edu/index.php/hpn-ssh), and it looks like there just aren't patches for 6.2p1, the latest HPN is still hpn13 v14. They've been writing for a while that the project is no longer funded so there have been significant delays, and so far it doesn't seem to have made it to sourceforge/googlecode/github either unless I'm missing something. Does anyone know what the status is? 6.2 was March 22, so it's approaching 3 months behind. - Lee openssh-trimmed-main.log.gz Description: GNU Zip compressed data smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature ___ macports-users mailing list macports-users@lists.macosforge.org https://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo/macports-users

Re: OpenSSH HPN currently on hiatus?
Clemens, thanks for taking a look and sorry for the slow reply, I managed to thoroughly bork my ports while trying to debug an issue with mplayer and have been doing a complete rebuild, now libquvi is acting up. Anyway. That was a simple oversight, I didn't intend to leave +hpn in when updating. I've disabled the variant (as we have previously done, e.g., in [1]) in r105976 [2] for now. Was wondering if it was something like that, and yeah, variant gone now so no one should be confused. Nice, only thing I'd found to try was in the auditing-sshd project and I couldn't tell if there was extra mixed in there. I'll give that a shot tomorrow, assuming nobody else gets to it first. Hopefully this is all a transient issue assuming somebody else takes over and gets a project up. I'll definitely keep an eye on it. - Lee smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature ___ macports-users mailing list macports-users@lists.macosforge.org https://lists.macosforge.org/mailman/listinfo/macports-users
