I am trying to install gcc and gfortran with sudo port install gcc6 
+gfortran and I get this message and nothing happens



 /opt/local/var/macports/registry/.registry.lock

Check if you have another port command running or stuck, and eventually kill it 
if you don’t think it should be there. Then retry your install command
