Problem with creating playlists
Hello Everyone. When I create a playlist in iTunes, I don't get a chance to name it what I want and iTunes always calls it untitled playlist. Why is this happening? Return-receipts in Mail
Sometimes when I land my cursor on an Email in my Inbox, VO will indicate that the Mail window flickered, will sometimes say that Mail has a new dialog, etc. I am theorizing that this means that Mail has just sent, at the request of the sender, a receipt of delivery or return receipt or whatever. I can't find a control for this anywhere in Mail, and I want to turn it off, since it's one way spam knows it's okay to keep sending more spam to an address. How do I flick this funning the plain old kitty, Leopard. :) Thanks! Re: skype on the mac
Hey. I'll try and answer your questions as best I can. 1. By default, skype will automatically play a sound to indicate that a contact is on line. 2. Adium won't impact in any way on skype, if that's what you mean. 3. When it comes up with the show weppage, cancel and open button, click the open button, and that message will not appear again, unless you reinstall skype. 4. As for when to contact someone. Try sending them a message, or giving them a call. Unless you t-up a time with them at some stage earlier in the day to have a chat or something. HTH, James. Re: Is this a voice over issue? mail is going nuts!
Sarah, I get the impression some of these are perhaps news feeds? If so, they do not seem to necessarily appear in alphabetical order. I have several news feeds that are not in any order and I have not bothered to try and arrange them. I find if I want to jump to a specific mail folder, I can always type the first few characters of the name and most times I'll be exactly where I want to be and is a little faster then scrolling through a long list of folders. skype on the mac
Hi mac family: Ok, I bit the bullet and downloaded Skype. I created an account with my daughter's help. Now, before anyone refers me to a podcast, (as I learn best with actual instruction) is there a good tutorial because I'm not finding one on their site. Folks, I haven't a clue what I'm doing, and I thought of giving myself a skype name like skype for dummy, but decided not to. So, now I have this acount with name and password. My understanding is that I can talk to other Skype-users with my mac. So, now I have to find out who has a Skype account, that I would like to converse with. Is that accurate? So, let me ask a few basic questions: 1. How do you know when your friends, (assuming I have them) are on line? 2. What will Adium do for Skype? 3. When I open skype, I'm taken to a things that says "show web page, cancel, etc." It this what I have tyo do each time is go to webpage and sign in? 4. how do I find out when to conbtact someone? Ok, You can email me off list if these ar too detailed, (or you want to kcik me off for being too dense). Is this a voice over issue? mail is going nuts!
Hello to all. I am hoping this is a voice over issue as I'm not sure what I'm seeing can really happen. Basically my mail is displaying folders out of order starting about 2 thirds the way down the list.
