Voice overcannot be heard over bluetooth headphones
Dear all, I am only a very recent iPhone user and would be grateful if some can throw some light on my problem. I am using the iPhone 4 and have paired with a Clip 2 mini 606 bluetooth headphone. As for using it to talk over the phone there is certainly no issue. However, the Voiceover channel does not get into the bluetooth at all. Does anyone out there have experience my problem? or can someone hear recommend me a particular brand and model that will not result in such a problem. Issues downgrading to Snow Leopard
Hi guys, As I've mentioned in previous threads, I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro, and have been wanting to downgrade to Snow Leopard for some time. Well, I'm pleased to report that I finally managed to get my hands on a copy of it this morning. Now the problems start. When booting from the dvd, I get the Apple logo, then a screen with a bunch of error messages, a few of them saying things like, "Panic!" and, "Unsupported CPU." I read somewhere that the dvd must have at least 10.6.8, because that update contains all the drivers necessary to support the newer hardware. I don't know how recent the disk I have is. I've already downloaded the update combo for 10.6.8. Is there a way to integrate this with the dvd somehow? Re: Braillent BI 40 and mion
I'm assuming we are talking about the same display. The Brailliant I have does not have a keyboard. I cannot recall the exact model number of the unit I have in the office, so whatever you get, if you want to have a Braille keyboard as well, be sure to select the correct model. I won't be able to check which model I have since I will not be back in the office until January. The displays are actually made by Baum, so they will be quite good. uninstlalation wowes
Okay. Twice now, I've had to restore my system from Time Machine backups because I could not successfully uninstall to apps; those being Fan Control and JDownload. With Fan control, the files which one is supposed to delete under ~Library/Preferences are not to be found there. Also, there is nothing in the start up items folder off the Library folder of the main volume. With respect to JDownload, there seems to be no way to remove it after installation. I found that on the Mac Rumors forum, others also had this to say. Question seems to be this. When an app has an installer package, should I first look todetermin whether uninstallation is possible before deciding whenter or not to install? Thanks. Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray!!! video converters?
Okay, I have a converter that does one file at a time. Is there one out there that can do it by folder, or batches? I ask this because I have 3TB of space that I can access from anywhere, as long as I am connected to the internet, but the files have to be in the right format. Try http://www.online-convert.com. Select the audio converter, then set your settings after pasting the youtube url in the first edit box. Re: weird VoiceOver thing happened
this happens with most removeable media volumes as the finder is trying to prepare the drive for preview and access. voiceover usually has a glitch like this and has done in my experience since the start. Voiceover still needs some serious tweeks to it to make it more stable. lew On 8 Dec 2011, at 18:57, Eugenia Firth wrote: > I just had to turn in a problem to Apple because this is definitely a > VoiceOver thing. > > I have this thumb drive with a lot of files on it. weird VoiceOver thing happened
I just had to turn in a problem to Apple because this is definitely a VoiceOver thing. I have this thumb drive with a lot of files on it. Every time I plug it into my MacBook Pro, I get a Finer busy message that won't go away unless I turn VoiceOver off. Most of the time, if I do this, everything is fine after that. However, this last time, when I turned Vo back on, it started stuttering real bad. It's a good thing I had a Focus 40 braille display on my computer because I was able to shut the computer down with it. Vo was still running the braille display. In fact, since I was in the middle of copying a file to the thumb drive, I just used the braille display to finish that before I shut it down, even though I had to listen to weird speech. I have had this stuttering before, but I think it's better since the last update. Regards, Gigi -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. RE: Issues downgrading to snow leopard
No, the dvd you have is only 10.6.3.. And, unfortunately, thre's no way to slipstream the combo update with the dvd, so, you're out of luck, I'm afraid. -Original Message- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Gavin Grundlingh Sent: Thursday, December 08, 2011 10:01 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Issues downgrading to snow leopard Hi guys, As I've mentioned in previous threads, I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro, and have been wanting to downgrade to Snow Leopard for some time.
