No hotkeys for scripts after latest update

2013-09-14 Thread Agent086b
Hi,
after the latest OSX update the hotkeys to my scripts don't work. Even the
Safari & Mail ones don't work. Is this normal after an update?
I can recreate them no problems was just wondering.

Blogging in wordpress.com with safari

2013-09-14 Thread Phil Halton
I want to be able to upload .mp3 files to my wordpress.com blog and link to
them from within a blog post. Does anyone using this platform know how
accessible this process would be? I know it requires a space upgrade on my
part, and want to know If I can do what I want before shelling out the cash.
Can you direct me to any information on the process, or tell me how it's done?
thanks

Re: help, I'm stuck in ringtone hell

2013-09-14 Thread Mark BurningHawk Baxter
Hi, all.

I, to would like some clarification on this point. I have a ring tone that
showed up in my iTunes ring tone list, but in a manner hard I try to sync it or
added to the playlist of marks iPhone, it did not go. He just refuses to go. I
don't understand it and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It occurs to me that
it may not go because there are no artists or album attributes populating
playlists database. I'll have to try that and get back to you on that.

Be well. Have a great weekend

help, I'm stuck in ringtone hell

2013-09-14 Thread Donna Goodin
Hi all,

This afternoon I decided to update and change out some of my ringtones. I
remade some that I wanted to be a little louder, and also wanted to copy some
that I hadn't put on the phone before. When I press Command-O to import them
into iTunes, they begin to play, as you would expect. But, when I try to sync
them to my phone, I get the error message "file X was not copied, because it
could not be found." And when I go back and look in my ringtones folder, sure
enough, the file has vanished! Does anyone know what's going on and how I can
get these ringtones to import into iTunes and sync to my phone?
thanks,
Donna

Some time ago, there was some discussion on this list about the Radium app. I
was running Snow Leopard, which isn't compatible with the app. Now that I'm on
ML, I'd be interested to hear peoples' comments about accessibility of the
latest version. I didn't pay that much attention to the discussion, because my
os at that time wouldn't let me use the app, and I have no idea if the current
version is the same, apparently accessible one, that people had been discussing.

Re: .avi jfiles to itunes format?

2013-09-14 Thread Kliphton
you can also use handbreak it's availible for both windows and mac and it is
free. Also my personal favorite is movavi, it converts any format to any
format, for example I can convert AVI to mp4, or I can convert mkv to audio or
mp4. The options are endless, you can even murge files together like a tv
series or something. There is also dvd remaster, you can get that on the mac
app store, it's priced at 50 bucks, a bit high if you ask me, but people say it
gets the job done. HTH ress.com

2013-09-14 Thread Edward Green
Hi Alison,

Have you gone into your Mail preferences, General, and checked what you have
Mail sounds set to?

Cheers,

Mac Mini whithout a Monitor

2013-09-14 Thread Allison Manzino Vàzquez
Hi Richard,

The Mac Mini I have is the latest one. My husband and I bought it a few months
ago. The only problem I have sometimes is that VoiceOver says busy a lot when
in Itunes or when trying to record with Amadeus Pro. I have to turn VoiceOver
on and off in Itunes, and with Amadeus I usually record without VoiceOver
turned on. I have noticed that once I connect it to our TV, this problem goes
away. I hope that helps.

Lost my mail sounds

2013-09-14 Thread Allison Manzino Vàzquez
Hi all,

Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen? I lost my mail sounds. I am
running the latest updates to Mountain Lion, and can't figure out where my mail
sounds went. When I try to add a sound it says no sounds in library/sounds
folder. I put two mail sounds there, but it still doesn't sound when I send a
message or recieve one. Any ideas? The research I have done claims it is a bug
in Mountain Lion. If you have any thoughts, please let me know.

Just curious,

Wouldn't this set up also feed the participant audio stream back to them?

Thanks Tim,

I don't know if I'm comfortable with terminal and command line, but I will find
out soon. Smiles. I am definitely willing to fuss around, and try things out.

I will look at the article you referenced in the message below.

Thank you again,

Anyway I can utilize this file without duplicating?
