Direct tv genie go
Well, I went ahead and bought the direct tv genie go that plugs in to the back of the dvr to let you stream and transfer shows to mac pc and ios devices. Just plug and play they said! They left out the part about enabling port forwarding and jacking around in your router! I still haven’t gotten the stupid thing to work yet. Gees! Sarai D. Yes do the following With the m b a off, Hold down the command keyand the r and push the power button with those 2 keys held down you hear the start up tone and let up on the power button, keep holding down the command and r key for about 20 seconds and then let them up Now wait a minute or so and do command f5 to turn on voice over, wait a few seconds to see if it starts speaking, if not do command f5 again and wait again. It will start speaking on one of these tries. Now when it is speaking you can only use the arrows and arrow to reinstall the mac o s x then stop interacting and arrow to continue and do v o spacebar to enter on the button and follow the prompts. This will take a while but after it starts the process you do command f5 again to get v o speaking and you can follow the progress and finish the new install of the o s x. You might want to play with the "Automatically include photos from" setting for your device on iTunes. I have mine set to "Last Year" but you might try Last 6 Month or something less to get everything to fit. Venny... not sure his last name, not Somarco, a different Venny, has also been doing things since about that long and has been in contact constantly with them. Kevin Reeves, and even Chuck Reichel are very very very very heavily involved. None of them as much as Slau though. Slau is gonna be your main go to, trust me. I'd also encourage you to look at: http://www.protoolswithspeech.com which is ran by a guy named Matt Diemert. It will cost you about $50 to get the tutorials, but all total it is around 8 and a half hours worth of training material with Voiceover and ProTools. It has proved to be invaluable! I cannot even begin to tell you how much I've learned from that audio guide. Yes, I did some stuff on Applevis, but please don't use it. It's not complete, and honestly it's very very out of date. If you want to check out Logic, which I personally don't care for, but, it's your judgement, you can look at: http://www.icanworkthisthing.com That site is ran by a blind Logic user named Keith Reety. I personally hate his audio tutorials. He's not very explanatory, and he goes very very very quickly, and doesn't really seem to demonstrate anything as much as just kind a run his mouth. That's only my opinion though of very many others. Here is a recording I did all me playing and singing in ProTools. As for PT12 having its own software instruments, yes. There is a collection called Air Creative. In here are 3 things. Mini Grand, which is a piano sample. Personally, I'd prefer using Synthogy's Ivory, but that's quite pricy. Built in, you also get a great Hamand B3 modeler, but I don't recall its exact name. Finally you get the XPand2 libraries, which is over 300 different samples which are modeled from actually instruments. They are true samples. It's not just a software synth, although, they are triggered via a midi controller/keyboard, or through the on screen keyboard you'd play with the mac keyboard. Again, I don't know of its accessibility though, I'm sorry. Let me know if you'd like some more help! Hello; Listers, I have a question! Ok here it goes. Earlier today I got a message on my iPhone telling me that I was running out of storage space. this is regarding photos on my iPhone. Is there a way for me to store all of my photos on my Mac then deleting them on my iPhone with out affecting all of my other devices? I hope I am making sense here. Hi, More usable? I don’t think so. I think the level of accessibility is roughly the same between both applications. There are indeed way, way, more features in logic but, many are not accessible. Plus, it really depends on what tasks you are looking to perform. Hi Becky. I don’t know if I can give you an answer for certain, but my first thought was that when you are accessing your Mac, you may not be in the right mailbox. There may be some other possibilities I haven’t thought of. Try pressing command and the number 1 on your Mac which should take you to your inbox. On my computer, that gives me access to all my email, whether it is from my iCloud account or my sbcglobal account. Let us know please what happens if you press command 1. As for PT12 having its own software instruments, yes. There is a collection called Air Creative. In here are 3 things. Mini Grand, which is a piano sample. Personally, I'd prefer using Synthogy's Ivory, but that's quite pricy. Built in, you also get a great Hamand B3 modeler, but I don't recall its exact name. Finally you get the XPand2 libraries, which is over 300 different samples which are modeled from actually instruments. They are true samples. It's not just a software synth, although, they are triggered via a midi controller/keyboard, or through the on screen keyboard you'd play with the mac keyboard. Again, I don't know of its accessibility though, I'm sorry. Let me know if you'd like some more help! Ok Chris, thanks. So, just to be clear. PT exists in many different version and this puts me a bit in confusion. The most accessible version is the 12, the last one, right? More, may I open in PT 12 the same project I've worked on Garageband? Has PT 12 its own keyboard to play, I mean teh computer keyboard as Garageband. It's useful to me because I don't have the standard musical keyboard always connected to the computer for room problem on my desk. Has PT its own set of instruments, and effects? Is PT often updated and is there a dialog between its developers and the blind comunity? Thanks.
