I used to use that one a lot on windows. That is, until I got to the point
where a screen reader became a requirement. THen their interface wasn't so
accessible. still, it is good software.

External hard drive Time Machine

2015-08-22 Thread Traci Duncan
Hi all,

A few years back I bought a SeaGate external hard drive for my Macbook Air & I
have been very happy with it. I reformatted it right away: 2 partitions,, 1
for Mac, 1 for Windows. It was simple.

Well, there is a new Mac in the house & I’m shopping for an external hard drive
again. This time around, the shopping experience feels overly complicated.
Could you give me your opinion on the below hard drive?
Seagate Expansion 1TB Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 (STEA1000400)

http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Expansion-Portable-External-STEA1000400/dp/B00TKFEEAS/ref=sr_1_6?&ie=UTF8&qid=1440283815&sr=8-6&keywords=external+harddrive

I want to purchase & do the same thing. Reformat it with a small partition for
Windows & the majority of it for Mac & Time Machine.

Thank you & my apologies for the long post.

Another way to solve the navigation problem in new iTunes

2015-08-22 Thread Kaare Dehard
Okay folks, a lister has the problem of not being to navigate through the album
list in the usual way. I’ve set up voiceover to have the mouse cursor follow
the vo cursor, then instead of following the old vo-space I add a shift key to
the combo and the stuff gets exposed for viewing.

Hope this helps.

Growl.

2015-08-22 Thread Sadam Ahmed
All,

Have downloaded the above app.

Does the program have to be open so I can get push notifications from Trillian
or other events?

Can’t seem to get into the status menu using VO.

Your help is appreciated.

With Best regards,

Sadam Ahmed
