Editing from an IPhone?

2017-07-13 Thread David & his pack of dogs
I want to edit videos from my IPhone 6S plus onto a big screen TV, pluging
the IPhone into a windows computer. Can it be done? So far in my limited
knowledge, I think the IPhone only uploads the pictures and videos to
I-tunes. I have no idea how to or even if, I-tunes could be used to edit
videos. If so, how? Also, would the Apple 4th generation 64 or 32 g T V,
work better?

RE: How to click mouse in fusion, jaw 8 doesn't work

2017-07-13 Thread David Griffith
OK – again apologies if this is obvious but when you remapped the ` key did
you remap it to the Caps Lock or the Insert key?

I need to go and check this with my own laptop but I am fairly certain that In
laptop layout for Jaws if you press the insert key the program will interpret
that as a desire to use the Desktop layout jaws key option even if Laptop
layout is set as the default.
In some ways I prefer the NVDA method of being able to specify both caps lock
and insert as identical modifiers but I do not believe Jaws behaves like this.
So in order for Jaws to recognise the ` key as a valid key for laptop layout it
needs to receive a key map signal indicating that it is the caps lock key
which is being held down and not the insert key.

If you have remapped the ` key to the insert key this would, I think explain
the behaviour you are experiencing.

Hi, so I set this when I first installed Jaws.  The laptop layout is set, my
other choices are desktop and kinasis.  (Sorry for the spelling)

I just checked and confirmed, laptop set.

Good suggestion though.

This  may be an obvious point but have you actually told Jaws that you want to
use Laptop Key layout?
Jaws is not clever enough to detect that you are using a laptop  automatically
and will keep to default Desktop layout until this is manually changed.
The easiest way to do this is probably by running the Start Up wizard from the
Help menu in Jaws.

Hi, wonder if someone can provide some pointers here.  I’m in voice over
running fusion as usual, JFW is installed, karabiner redefined my ` key as the
jaws key.  Things like jaws k p and r work for example limiting the cursor or
changing the cursor.  When I press jaws key or ` in this case and 8 it does not
click the mouse.  What should be left click comes up with jaw manager and 9
which should be right click comes up with a frame manager.  How can I make this
click specifically right click?  The JFW documentation confirms in laptop
keyboard mode the jaws 8 should work but they refer to caps lock which I
rerouted to ` with karabiner.  Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks

Re: How to set your default credit card in Apple Pay wallet

2017-07-13 Thread Mary Otten
Thanks. I don't know why, but looking in settings after all these years is
still not intuitive for me. I expect to see all the stuff I want right in the
app, except for obvious things like notifications at all. One nice thing. You
can actually use voiceover and scan your card in. I didn't think that would be
possible, but it worked. You get a clicking sound which gets faster the closer
you get to write. And once it is right, VoiceOver simply read the information
out. Pretty slick.

RE: How to click mouse in fusion, jaw 8 doesn't work

2017-07-13 Thread David Griffith

It sounds like you are still in the default Desktop layout for Jaws.

Subject: How to click mouse in fusion, jaw 8 doesn't work

Thanks
