Hi,

Are you using an original iPhone or iPad charging cable? Some of the third
party ones don't send the signal properly.

Re: Screen Recording with Voiceover Audio

2018-12-15 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

VO audio is routed differently, so recording VO audio activity is not as easy
as recording video. I don't believe that you're able to do this without extra
tools that tend not to be free. Pro Tools is an option, but probably overkill
and very expensive. You might be able to use Audio Hi-Jack to capture the
audio as well, but then you'd need to somehow sync the audio with your video
capture. I guess one might be able to use an Apple TV to mirror audio and
video giving you another device that you could try to record from. I haven't
had time lately to dive very deep into this issue, so I apologize for not being
particularly specific.

Re: missing onscreen keyboard on iPhone

2018-12-15 Thread Mary Otten
Hi Jonathan,
I just had this happen today. It was very annoying. I have an external
Bluetooth keyboard, and I thought maybe that was the problem. So I turned off
Bluetooth. Rebooted the phone. No luck. I went into general settings keyboard
and found out that for some reason I had three keyboards listed, two of which
were United States English qwerty. I deleted one of those, rebooted the phone,
and my keyboard returned. I don’t know why it listed US English twice. And I
don’t know if it was just coincidental that getting rid of one of them should
cause the keyboard to reappear. But it did.

Re: missing onscreen keyboard on iPhone

2018-12-15 Thread Jonathan Cohn
Thanks for the replies. so far, I have not been able to get the onscreen
keyboard to appear again. I have tried removing the pairing of the Braille
display, toggling the show keyboard check box several times, reset the system
with bluetooth off and with airplane mode on, and probably 5 other similar
attempts. I have not yet looked at support pages on the web, but then again I
am just getting onto a computer now since my post last night. Oh, and I
apologize for the typo’s in that post, I was using the VoiceOver braille on
screen keyboard.

I will definitely post if I get a solution that works, if anybody else has
ideas please keep them coming.

Accessible computer and iPhone games

2018-12-15 Thread Likidefs
Good morning to list,
This time I am looking for accessible computer games which I can play on my Mac
or iPhone. I’ve heard of a aircraft simulation game called something like Gear
Flight or something. Do you know anything about it i’d also like to know of any
other games that are out there besides this particular one. Thanks.
