Sorry, I didn’t mean to hijack this message but as it was to do with text
messages and iMessages I thought I’d ask.
My wife and I both have iPhones and we have checked the settings on both
devices and they look the same. However when my wife sends me an iMessage I
receive it fine, and then a few seconds or minutes after I get the same message
again but in the text message format. It doesn’t happen the other way around,
she only receives iMessages from me. And any other friends that I have with
iPhones I only get the iMessage without it doubling up as a text as well.
Has anyone seen this before?

Max,
Thanks for getting me started. However the CMD Left/right arrow does work to go
to the last cell in a row with data, but the Cmd up/down only moves to row 1 or
row 9091, and my data ends long before that row. I’ll try a couple other
spreadsheets to see if there’s something unique with this one.

Hi Simon,
I have an HP Laserjet Pro 281FDW (at least I think that's the model number).
Its an all-in-one color laser printer with wifi and ethernet.
Its the best printer I've ever owned. It works every time. Setup on the mac is
a breeze, just plug it into your router, launch system prefs and hit add
printer and that's it.
Hope this helps! Jeff

Suddenly unable to send text messages?

2019-08-19 Thread Mary Otten
We are on vacation, but I have a cell connection on my T-Mobile phone an
iPhone. For some reason, when I try to send text messages to a couple of people
who do not own iPhones, people to whom I have previously sent messages, I’m
getting notifications that the message send failed. I don’t get it.

Re: Moving Around in Numbers -- Keystrokes on a Mac

2019-08-19 Thread Dave Carlson
Max,
Thanks for getting me started. However the CMD Left/right arrow does work to go
to the last cell in a row with data, but the Cmd up/down only moves to row 1 or
row 9091, and my data ends long before that row. I’ll try a couple other
spreadsheets to see if there’s something unique with this one.

Hi,
CMD + up or down arrow moves to start or end of column CMD + right or left
arrow moves to first or last cel in a row.
That is a start. Others may suggest more commands.

Somewhat, but the use of the option key to announce what group a
card is in, that is quite annoying. Apple needs to be annoyed until this
is addressed. Sure the capslock key is also a VO modifier key but I am
too used to the control and option keys.

Oh and I never have blocked any spam callers, the numbers used are
always one time only.

Re: working printers

Hi Simon,
I have an HP Laserjet Pro 281FDW (at least I think that's the model
number). Its an all-in-one color laser printer with wifi and ethernet.
Its the best printer I've ever owned. It works every time. Setup on
the mac is a breeze, just plug it into your router, launch system
prefs and hit add printer and that's it.
Hope this helps! Jeff

working printers

2019-08-19 Thread Simon Fogarty
Hi Listerrs,

I'm looking for a new Scanner / printer,

What types of printers are people using now days?

I'm looking for something that has WiFi and Wired network connection plus is
an MFD multi function device,
Scanner,
Printer,
Copier

If anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Cheers.
