Hey all,

I need to be able to edit a GoogleSheet. How do I do this? Also, it would be
helpful to also be able to do it using JAWS On my work PC. If anyone knows how
to do that, I would appreciate it if you could send me directions off list.
TIA,
Donna

Re: Writible CDs and DVDs

2020-05-14 Thread Petrus Tuerlings
Hi Simon,
I think you missed my original email where I said I was burning MP3 formatted
audio books. So the play time is definitely more then 80minutes. I know the CD
player in her car can play MP3 format. In fact the CD I burned the other day
equates to about 18 hours play time. One thing, burning MP3 files on to a
blank CD with the Mac is way easier then on my old windows machine. It took me
about five minutes to work out how to do it.

Hi,

In Safari, press cmd-comma (or go up to the Safari menu and down to
Preferences), interact with the Toolbar and VO-space on Web-sites. In the main
content area for this pane, interact with the table and move down to “Pop-Up
Windows”. Stop interacting with the table and add the site as one that is
allowed pop-ups. Close Safari Prefs and it should be good to go.

Re: Body Cams

2020-05-14 Thread Jessica Moss
Oh not to worry, I had something really similar to that happen to me in middle
school. My 6th grade year, I was in special ed PE, which included students in
wheelchairs, and we went out one afternoon to walk the track, and I was walking
with a friend of mine when I felt someone rolling over my cane. Everyone
around us was like “No Shawn, go around,” but it was too late, my cane ended up
caught in the spokes of his chair and the metal was crushed, so in the end, it
looked more like I was holding a golf club.

RE: Writible CDs and DVDs

2020-05-14 Thread Simon A Fogarty
Hi Petrus,

Yes you can also get DVDs that hold approximately 8.5GB

Dual layer dvd.

However if you are wanting to play these books as audio then it’s not the cd
capacity but the playing time.

The cd size worked to I think from memory the 650MB cd was 80 minutes approx.
playing time,

So depending on which way you want to play the files might be worth looking
at the way you wish to write the data to the disks and dvd’s don’t always play
in optical drive players.

Thanks Tim,
It tells me that has 6148 bites and if my brain is working correctly which
isn’t a guarantee I make that 6.1MB? I’m pretty sure I can buy blank DVDs that
can take about 4.6GB so I’ll look online to order some of those. I was hoping
they would be available in the Apple store but I think blank DVDs are to old
technology for apple to worry about.

RE: Body Cams

2020-05-14 Thread Simon A Fogarty
Yeah fix is one thing but that fix probably wont last long,
And who pays to replace the broken cain.

Here in NZ they cost 60 dollars and that’s a lot if you’re breaking them a lot.

Here is one for you. Around 2008 when all the office shooting was going around.
I was in the break room when they had the New York shooting showing to a full
house. I was leaving to go back to work when someone crossed my path. Now I use
a telescopiccane, and when it snapped the sound was like a gun going off. I
never heard some many people hit the floor.
Everyone had a good laugh. I told the guy that broke my cane, “Thanks, Now your
my eyes until I leave work. He found someone by the end of day to make shift up
a cane sub just to get me home. I told him I had spares and thanks for have the
thought to fix what you broke.

Yeah I can understand that one.

Ignorance is bliss.

My neaces flatmate tripped over my cain one day and broke it,
A simple accident,
But when I said how do I get home now,
She said I don’t know but I could carry you,

Which at the time was the best reply I’ve ever had
And at the time she didn’t know who I was.

RE: iTunes store purchase redownloads.

2020-05-14 Thread Simon A Fogarty
I thought that to,
But no most of them the download / redownload button is no longer there.

At least for the books purchased months ago.

Books purchased a couple of weeks ago they do have the download button
remaining.

Hi,

If you know the names of the books, you can search for them in the Book Store,
instead of the price, it should just have a Download button. If you don’t
remember all the titles, you’ll either need to see if they’re under the
Purchases tab of your account, or search through your receipts. Not the most
pleasant task, but might be the best.

Later…
