questions about using the Numbers app on iPhone

2020-06-18 Thread Katie Zodrow
Hi, everyone.
At the end of February, I upgraded from the iPhone 5S to an iPhone 11. I’ve
loved using it ever since, it works great!

I checked out the Numbers application on my iPhone a couple months ago for the
first time. It’s kind of similar to Excel and seems pretty straight forward to
use. I just have some questions about using the app with Voiceover.

I will be using Numbers for my time sheet info at work. I was wondering if
there’s a way you can rename a template or save a template with a different
name each time in the app with Voiceover? I figured out how to edit information
and can type in the different cells fine after I double tap to edit something.
Is there an option for changing the name of a spread sheet? Also, can you
transfer Numbers files to Dropbox with an iPhone? I don’t have Numbers on my
Mac currently. My computer is too old to upgrade to Mac OS Catalina. So I’ll
have to use this app on my iPhone for now until I get a new computer.
Thanks for your help.
Katie

DBT works fine under Catalina. I take it that other than trying to
send a job to the embosser, DBT is fine?

Couple things you might try. Remove and reinstall the Index and
check the related settings. If no go, deactivate DNT, uninstall it then
do a fresh install.

RE: Question about drop box

I want to remove it because DB can be used in only 3 computers, and I already
have 3 computers where DB is activated. In addition, every time I turn on my
Mac, DB shows up, asking for some email address, which is not the one I used in
drop box. I will try what you suggest.

Hi Rina.

Dropbox should be in your applications folder, which you access with command
plus shift and A.

Just highlight it and press command backspace.

If your using VoiceOver it should say something like move to trash.

But it might come up with an administrator message, I'm not sure on that though.

Why do you need to remove it anyway?

Re: Question about drop box

2020-06-18 Thread 'Gary Price' via MacVisionaries
Hi Rina.
Dropbox should be in your applications folder, which you access with command
plus shift and A.
Just highlight it and press command backspace.
If your using VoiceOver it should say something like move to trash.
But it might come up with an administrator message, I'm not sure on that though.
Why do you need to remove it anyway?
