2020-08-20 Thread Lorie McCloud
I'm trying to change something in my profile on Zoom on my Mac. I've tried to
do this before on IOS but it doesn't seem to work. anyway, when I've entered
"my profile" even if I interact I can't go beyond "add a personal note." vo
will read me everything but I can't focus the keyboard on what I want to open.
how is this done?

Re: Keyboard Commands for Zoom on my Mac

2020-08-20 Thread Kerryann Ifill
Hi I’ve pasted them below
Computing | Digital Trends - Friday, April 3, 2020 at 5:51 PM

Best Zoom keyboard shortcuts to make you a video conferencing expert
Jumping into a Zoom meeting
 is a great way to
attend a meeting or webinar remotely, or even connect with distant friends and
family across the globe. The best part of Zoom is that it’s free for basic
meetings holding up to 100 people. If you want to learn how to become a Zoom
master , we have
assembled a list of Zoom keyboard shortcuts that you can use to manage your
meeting, control your audio-video settings, and communicate with others, all
with a simple keystroke.

View keyboard shortcuts in Zoom
While we have assembled all of Zoom’s keyboard shortcuts for Mac, PC, Linux,
and iOS below, you can also access a full list of shortcuts within the Zoom
desktop client itself. If you are running Zoom on your desktop computer, log in
to Zoom, then click on your profile photo in the upper-right corner, select
Settings from the drop-down list, and click Keyboard Shortcuts.

Zoom keyboard shortcuts on Mac

with desktop client versions 3.5.19877.0701 or higher. To obtain the latest

.

Getting started with your meeting:

Command + J: Join meeting
Command + Control + V: Start meeting
Command + D: Schedule meeting
Command + Control + S: Screen share via direct share
Command + W: Prompt to end or leave meeting
Control your audio and video:

Command + Shift + A: Mute/unmute audio
Command + Control + M: Mute audio for everyone except the host
Command + Control + U: Unmute audio for everyone except host
Space: Push to talk
Command + Shift + V: Start/stop video
Command + Shift + N: Switch camera
Command + Shift + S: Start/stop screen share
Command + Shift + T: Pause or resume screen share
Recording the meeting:

Command + Shift + R: Start local recording
Command + Shift + C: Start cloud recording
Command + Shift + P: Pause or resume recording
Command + T: Screenshot
Control your view:

Command + Shift + W: Switch to active speaker view or gallery view
Control + P: View previous 25 participants in gallery view
Control + N: View next 25 participants in gallery view
Command + U: Display/hide participants panel
Command + Shift + H: Show/hide in-meeting chat panel

I forgot about soundFlower, I will recheck that out.

White noise is an app that has several sound files that can play on a loop.
With or without your music. Raining, city street, fireplace, crowded room,

Re: Airdrop

2020-08-20 Thread Nebojsa Tasic

After tapping on the phone I hear sound on the laptop and notification
about receiving file. Than I press Cmd + Shift + R, but can't find the
file with Voice Over.

I haven't done this yet completely. I do know that you have to have your Mac and
your iPhone airdrop both set to "allow me to be discovered by everyone.. if you
tap on the file you want to send and you see your Mac then tap on that. a dialogue
is supposed to come up on the Mac asking you where you want the file to go. this is
the part I haven't had experience with yet. I don't know if it just happens or if
you hve to press command-shift-r in finder on your Mac for it to come up.

Hi!

to Mac?

voiceOver not reading while typing on WhatsApp

2020-08-20 Thread João de Sousa e Silva

Hi,

Voiceover is not reading what I type using onscreen keyboard on
WhatsApp. I can read the whole thing if I dictate it, but not
whiletyping. Also, doesn’t allow me to go for fixing some spelling
mistake. This happening on both, my iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. I already
tried to restore the phones. It was working right after the procedure,
but for a few time. This does not happen on any other App.

Any idea, please?
