Mail crashing regularly in MacOs Sierra

2020-11-01 Thread 'Andrew Lamanche' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

I still run Sierra on one of my macs because of the Greek language bug not
having been fixed since then but also I have some apps here that wouldn’t work
on later operating systems. For a few weeks now, Mail app crashes at least
once or twice a day when I view message lists or open a message to read,
sometimes when I start a new message. I feel something has been corrupted
somewhere but I have no idea what. Any suggestions? I have repeatedly run
Clean My Mac app to make sure all the scripts have been executed to keep my
macbook pro in good nick but this hasn’t fixed anything.

Andrew

Re: reading menus

2020-11-01 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
It would be possible I think.
To get an identification for my bank I had to point the camera on my phone at
the computer screen and find this QR code.
It worked with a little patience.

unzip software

2020-11-01 Thread Christina
Hi all,

I ran across a .ZIP file that my Mac wouldn't unzip with the default software.
A friend on a windows computer could unzip it. The file happened to be a folder
that was zipped with zipped files inside of that folder. Can anyone recommend a
third party utility that is VO accessible that's more powerful than the built
in unzip software. I do also on occasion come across .RAR files, so it would be
great if this utility could also handle other compressed file formats. I did
look at the Mac app store, but wasn't sure which one I'd have the most luck
wiht as far as accessibility goes.

Thanks so much ahead of time,
Christina

usb keyboard

2020-11-01 Thread Lorie McCloud
I ordered a keyboard for my Mac that said it can be used with either a Mac or a
windows computer. it has 4 keys on each side of the spacebar. the one on the
right at the end that I guess you'd call control is long. I don't know if that
means it functions differently or not.which keys equate to what? in other
words, how do I do things like interact?

thanks.

something written above that you do not understand, please ask me what my

More on my Win Clone problem. Please read below?

2020-11-01 Thread Maurice Mines
I found the company that makes the software. But it appears that I'm unable to
write them an email because they require a capsha yes they do have it for
someone who is just normally blind, or two in my neck of the woods as"hearing
blind" and I am actually deaf blind meaning that the verification is in
accessible for me. Any thoughts or should I call somebody that knows the law
very well. Now I'm just extremely took off because all I need is my stupid
license key and I'm not infinitely wealthy they just re-purchase the software.

Sincerely Maurice Mines
Please note that the above text has been dictated to the computer by means

understand, please ask me what my original intent was? I will do everything I
