notificatio0ns

2020-12-14 Thread Lorie McCloud
I have another notifications question. if I go into notifications from the tool
bar it says my dropbox is off. it's apparently not a toggle switch because
pressing vo-space doesn't do anything. how do I turn it on? it says: "Banners
Sounds badges" but if it's off, none of that shows up.

thanks.

are you referring to the finder view menu or is it somewhere else? I can't

Hi Chuck in iOS 14 there is a translation app that allows you to write text and
then have it translated into the language of your choosing. You may give that a
go.

converting english to Spanish app

2020-12-14 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi List,
I'm looking for recommendations on how to convert english to Spanish then
sending it out via text messages.
It could bee as simple as copying a phrase or paragraph from textedit then
pasting it into some kind of translator then copying it in to my messages app
or on the iPhone.

I have a new client at my recording studio that is a bit limited on english
recently coming from Venezuela.
I have been using the iPhone with siri and telling siri to translate my english
phrases to spanish but it's a bit lengthy using this process.
I saw a youtube about google translate but I've never used it?
Any suggestions out there?
Thanks
Chuck

Re: Audio Hijack sale

2020-12-14 Thread joseph hodge
I love Audio Hijack it really is the reason the Mac is much more powerful than
Windows for me. I like the fact I can record Safari and Chrome doing things at
the same time and you have no way of knowing on a recording. Its a wonderful
program and I highly recommend it if you don’t have it. I also enjoy other apps
from the company such as Airfoil.

Audio Hijack sale

2020-12-14 Thread 'Robert Cole' via MacVisionaries
Hi,
There are a few ways of recording audio on the Mac, but I have found Audio
Hijack the easiest.
It was $59, but you can get it for $47 with
code END2020.

Some people are now using Zoom to record audio & video on the Mac.
And don’t forget about QuickTime. It can also be used to record system audio
and video by installing a audio driver extension.
