You can't export passwords from Keychain to 1Password. You will have to copy
and paste them.

Thank you.

I read articles all the time about what is in public betas.
If it is in a public beta, then it is public.

Re: Apple mail on a mac

2021-01-22 Thread Brad Snyder
When in apple Mail, CMD + L should enable/disable message filter. It is a
toggle, so repeating should turn it off, and return your View to what it was
before doing the command.

Beginning with Mail in Catalina, Column Layout resembles what was known as
Classic View in earlier version of Mail. If this is what you want, make sure
the item is checked.

BTW - CMD + 0, will open a new Viewer window as well. Pressing CMD + 1, will
pretty much do the same thing.

Re: iPad Mini 5th Gen Or iPad Air 2020 256GB?

2021-01-22 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
That is correct. Sorry, I didn't know that.

Here is a link to a comparison of the mini and the 8th gen from the Apple site.
Looks to me like the Mini has the advantage in that it has more storage, and
the 8th gen has the advantage in that it is compatible with smart keyboards.

Hi Donna and all,

Both the iPad 10.2 inch and current 5th gen Mini have the same A12 CPU.

Best,

Hi Fazil,

As I see it, the iPad Air has two advantages, one is the processor, and the
other is it’s added ability to work with Apple Pencil. Obviously, for most of
us here, the second of those is irrelevant. Personally, I am interested in the
A14 Bionic, but the larger size of the iPad Air makes it unattractive to me. So
I would say that if you don’t care about the faster processor, and you can’t
use the Apple Pencil, there is absolutely no reason to spend the extra money.
One thing I do wonder, though. Are you thinking of the mini, or the 2020 10.2
inch iPad? The latter is also cheaper, and will have a faster processor than
the mini.

Cheers,

Donna

Hi, Group.

Please help me decide.

I am in the market to purchase an iPad 256GB. Now I am debating between iPad
Mini or iPad Air 2020.

It is $240 difference between these two. I like the size of iPad Mini.

Being a totally blind user, would I be missing something in iPad Mini which is
available in iPad Air?

I am not worried about A14 Bionic chip in iPad Air.

Anything important that I should go for iPad Air, not for iPad Mini?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks!
