Anyone ever had WIFI go bad on a HomePod?

2021-12-08 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Hi all,

One of our HomePods just stopped connecting to the internet. I’ve tried
reseting it, but that did not help. Has anyone ever seen this? Anyone have
any thoughts on anything else I can try? Our WIFI is fine - all our other
devices work correctly.
Cheers,
Donna

Interactions on mac

2021-12-08 Thread Jonathan Cohn
Hello,
there are ways of disabling interactions in voiceover utility Navigation
screen. Look at the Grouping behavior pop up menu.
.

Re: Utilizing comments in Word

2021-12-08 Thread Jonathan Cohn
Are you using the comments side panel in word for Mac? I thought each comment /
change also acted like a link back to the part of the document being commented
on.
We do need to set up a guide on this, Donna was asking about how to best work
with these last month.

Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn

Another useful keyboard command is using the number keys to jump in 10%
increments - ex. Press 5 to jump to the 50% time reference.

Hi,

Or, maybe create your own HotSpot. When you’re in the Comment area, press
VO-shift-1, which should create the HotSpot. To get to the #1 Hotspot, press
VO-1. If you don’t like the #1, then choose one of the other numbers.

Hi,

National Braille Press has a book about the Mac that can be ordered in MSWord .

https://www.nbp.org/ic/nbp/MAC-BASICS-2021.html

You could try copying some user guides to Word on Applevis’s site.

It has a lot of useful information on getting started with the Mac.

https://www.applevis.com/new-to-mac

Maybe you should start with this link.

https://www.applevis.com/guides/beginners-guide-using-macos-voiceover

I will copy this article to MSWord and send it offlist.

There are training courses free of charge.

I hope others can add to this list.
