Preview in Mail in IOS 16?

Hi again, all,

When I go into the mail app, the first unread message is displayed in some kind 
of preview pane with a context menu (I can’t read it, because the preview seems 
to be an image.). Once I close the context menu, the other messages display 
normally.  How do I get rid of that menu?  I checked under Mail in Settings, 
and Preview is set to None.

Brandon,
So simple, and yet so elusive. Thanks. I was using Command+Option+UpArrow to 
get to the top and Safari went silent with an “untitled” web page.

Jumping to/from the top/bottom of a web page

I seem to have problems doing this with the Safari web browser. How do I jump 
up to the top or jump down to the bottom of a web page?

I followed. Herbie’s suggestion, and turned off screen recognition. Since then, 
things have been much better. Direct touch still does not work, but the problem 
I was having with double tapping, not working seems to have worked itself out. 
I also had the issue with the voice resetting. But I let my phone sit and the 
voice switch back within a few minutes.

Mine is an iPhone XS. I upgraded on the day of release. Shortly after 
the upgrade, the voice configuration in VoiceOver was reset to the 
default (just the voice selection, not the speech rate). I fixed it in 
the VoiceOver settings.


I haven't encountered any other bugs or issues so far, and I've been 
using it significantly since the upgrade.

Sharing confidential data between iPhone and iMac

Hello,
I am running IOS 16 on my iPhone SE 2020 and Monterey 12.6 on my 2018 iMac.
I am a bit paranoid about security. Is there any way to share an encrypted 
folder between IOS and MAC/OS in such a way that it can be encrypted on say 
MAC/OS and decrypted on IOS or vice versa?I am hoping that I can store the 
encrypted folder on my iCloud drive.

know, last ditch effort, but it may fix some things and put you at the
point where 16 is usable.
