I have never gotten this to work. The only way I know is to use the website to

Can't Authorize Audible

2022-11-04 Thread Brandon Olivares
Hello,

I just got a new MacBook Pro and am now on Monterey (10.6.1).

I can’t seem to authorize Audible. I open the book, click yes to authorize, and
it redirects me to Audible. I click activate, and it opens books again but
nothing happens.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m not sure how to authorize Audible so I
can read my book.

Thanks,
Brandon

Good point. I wasn’t thinking about the extra finder window. Not a huge

Re: What is Launchpad?

2022-11-04 Thread Greg Wocher
Hello,
Launch pad is similar to how you would see all your apps on an iPhone. It is
very usable with VO. I use the doc for frequently used programs. I also use the
keyboard commander for my favorite apps. For everything else I use command a to
go into the applications folder. You can also use spotlight to open
apps, folders and files on your machine.

I think using the shortcut menu from the item on the Dock is more efficient,
and it doesn't leave you with an open Finder window.

Re: What is Launchpad?

2022-11-04 Thread mr.robertcole via MacVisionaries
Here is how I use it,
If I want to open mail,
I press option plus L for Launch Pad.
Then type m a.
VoiceOver will announce Mail. Pressing enter will open it.

Re: What is Launchpad?

2022-11-04 Thread 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries
Brad,

I’ve never messed with the launchpad. I have a vague memory of it originally
not being very vo friendly. Is there any advantage to using it over just
opening the applications folder?
Cheers,
Donna

Bookmark folders on Mac

2022-11-04 Thread Sarah Massengale
Good morning, all,

I’ve recently figured out that all of my safari bookmarks fall into one of
several categories. I’d really like to be able to put them in folders to keep
my computer more organized, and make it easier to find things. Is this
something I can do in ventura, and if so, how do I do it?

Thanks,
Sarah
