Re: more on Just PRess Record
There are lot of options for a microphones that will work with your Mac mini. One option is the Apple EarPods I recommended. Many people still have a pair from an old iPhone. There are other options to consider. One option I would recommend, is the Logitech H390 USB Headset. Another option is the Logitech H800 Wireless Bluetooth Headset, that works by either Bluetooth or with the included USB dongle. I have both, and would recommend either as a great option to use with your Mac mini. Re: VMware's Fusion now free for personal use!
VMWare work station is now free for personal use as is the Mac Fusion product. This on Windows is the full work station product, not the restricted Player. In my experience, if you didn’t make changes to your VMWare account as of I think May 16, you are better off making a new account. I know I received email saying I had to take action or my VMWare account would stop working. > On May 26, 2024, at 4:25 PM, Doug Lee wrote: > > I believe VMware Player for Windows is free but has limitations. Re: VMware's Fusion now free for personal use!
Same for me Doug. I received no such notification, and don’t seem to be able to log in with my previous credentials. Interesting that they wanted action so fast, and also that I did not receive any such email as a VMWare Workstation user. I actually opened my VMware account by purchasing Fusion many years ago. Though the website article describing this move to subscription models does not mention Workstation, I wonder if this will eventually affect me also. Re: VMware's Fusion now free for personal use!
Thanks, Kelly. This link did indeed work for me. I also was required to provide my address and attest my ascent to the export restrictions. Yes, Broadcom bought VMware. They sent an email in April requiring existing accounts to take action by early May. I simply registered anew. The form is a bit fussy, but it does work.
