Mac mail server settings disappeared. Help Please

2022-05-29 Thread 'Ron' via MacVisionaries
Hi there, I went to enter a App Specific Password into my Mac Mail Gmail
account server settings only to find they are no longer visable. In fact all
the mail account server settings have gone except for an Outlook account. They
were visable 2 weeks ago as I updated the password on one of them and it was
straight forward. Looking online
there seems to have been various problems similar over the years. I have been
unable to find a way of resolving this problem. Does anyone have any idea’s?
I am fairly new to computing , so any simple instructions would be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance, Ron.

Re: CopyClip clipboard manager for Safari - Has anyone got this to work?

2022-02-27 Thread 'Ron' via MacVisionaries
Hi there, I have discovered if I simulate a mouse click then I do get a
clipboard history list. However I don’t get any other options such as
preferences etc.
Thanks again, Ron.

2022-02-25 Thread 'Ron' via MacVisionaries
Hi there, thanks forr the reply. If I opem Copyclip from the application folder
I get the message “copyclip has no windows”. If I copy some text from Safari to
my clipboard I thought there should be a copyclip option in the menu bar. This
is not there and if I go back to copyclip via Aplication folder I get the
original message of no window. Maybe I am approaching it incorrectly? Ron.

Hi there Jonathan are you referring to a touch bar mac? as I don’t have the
keys available on the 2018 Macbook air running the latest version of Big Sur. I
am getting confused. cmd down arrow or up arrow does take the cursor to the top
or bottom of a document , but what I am looking for is a way of scrolling page
by page in documents , web pages etc. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Regards Ron.

Fn right up or fn down arrow

2021-08-30 Thread 'Ron' via MacVisionaries
Meant to say fn righght or left arrow seems to take the cursor to the top or
bottom of the window rather than scrolling.

Thanks for the reply Jonathen, however I am using a MacBook Air which doesn’t
have a page up or down key. Any other thoughts?
Regards Ron.

Page scrolling

2021-08-29 Thread 'Ron' via MacVisionaries
hi Jonathan thanks for the reply, yes you are correct and the screen is
scrolling with the 3 finger swipe when I check with touch navigation.
I know cmd up arrow takes the focus to the top or botom of the screen., but how
do you scroll pages with keys?
