Re: please help with the space key
maybe. I restored default settings. can i check that it? The funny thing is the space key works with option key. if I assigned a commender how can I cancel it? thanks Mark BurningHawk Baxter wrote: Could you possibly have assigned the space key some other function, either through a Commander keyboard?) or through something in System Prefs? Re: please help with the space key
hi again thanks mark. I've tried it but it doesn't work again. I suppose it is not about voice over. I turned off voice over and see that the space key still doesn't work without option key. I don't know how did I do it. :( any help would be apprishiated. Mark BurningHawk Baxter yazdı: The space key working with the option key makes me wonder if it's a Keyboard Commander thing. Is it either option key, or just the left or right option key, with the space bar, to make it space? Does Command Space bring up the Spotlight search box? And, if it if a keyboard commander thing, the fix would be: • Open Vo Utilities manager • Choose Commanders in the table, and Keyboard from the tabs. • find the box that says restore defaults, and click it. • Mark BurningHawk Baxter • AIM, Skype and Twitter: BurningHawk1969 • MSN: burninghawk1...@hotmail.com • My home page: • http://MarkBurningHawk.net/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Re: please help with the space key
I'm using mac book pro 13 inch. I haven't got any external key board though I couldn't try any external one.:) the track pad looks working well. also I'm using track pad commender on. regards Mark BurningHawk Baxter yazdı: Oh how very intriguing! You've restored keyboard defaults, eliminated VoiceOver as the culprit... is this a MacBook, or an Imac? Have you tried unplugging and re-plugging-in the keyboard, if it's external, and a complete shut-down and reboot after all this? Is there a mouse somewhere in this system, and is it working correctly? Or, alternately, is the track pad free of glitches? • Mark BurningHawk Baxter • AIM, Skype and Twitter: BurningHawk1969 • MSN: burninghawk1...@hotmail.com • My home page: • http://MarkBurningHawk.net/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group.
