Re: solona.net — tactile screen protectors
I'm really worried that those who have paid may not receive their screen protectors. It seems Bernard has taken ill, and I think Solona was pretty much a one-man show. So, I hope you will be able to contact someone who knows something. My fiance just got an iPhone and is having some trouble texting and such, so I thought it'd be useful for her, so I ordered us both one. I even tried to get expedited shipping. However, I've not heard a word from them yet, and it's been at least two weeks or more. I even tried contacting them through their form, and have not gotten any responses. I know there's been discussion of them not being online for their captcha service, but I thought at least they would process orders. Also, I had seen an operator online with the captcha service for at least a few minutes the night when I ordered, so I thought they were back online. I know it's been discussed here, which is why I'm posting about it. I'm not sure what to do. I've heard the guy is sick, so I don't want to do a chargeback, but it really should have been shipped and arrived here already. Has anyone else ordered recently? Hi Karen, I can understand what the appeal might be for a lot of people, especially if you are lucky enough to be in love with your phone carrier. For myself I can honestly say that nothing on earth would induce me to buy a phone from any carrier I've had the misfortune to deal with in Canada. not bell or telus, and especially not rogers. In case I should ever be forced to buy a phone from a carrier I'll be buying the phone outright and never approaching anything that looks like a contract. Bad bad bad news. In this case I think I'll quite happily grab one from the apple store and then just buy a prepaid simcard for it from probably fido, but maybe I'll check mobilicity and see if they can support it.
