moving video & Audio files

2017-03-08 Thread David and his growing pack of dogs. Benny, no longer with us his memory lives on through
How do I clear out most of my storage on my IPhone 6S plus? I want to
move most video and Audio files onto an external hard drive but, do
not know if it is possible. Or, if it even can be done. I have a
capacity of 128 G. I have already used, according to the storage
report via settings, 96.3 G. with 23 G of usable space left. Thus my
query.

Re: Nearby Explorer vs. Blind Square?

2017-03-04 Thread David and his growing pack of dogs. Benny, no longer with us his memory lives on through
I must have typed in the wrong name. It could have been as simple as
not capitolizing the E in explorer. When I checked, the proper app
had been updated in February of this year. The cost is $109.95
I assume it works in Canada as when I attempted to purchase it, I did
not recieve a message stating that it was only available in the U S
and I must switch to a U S account before proceeding.

My only concern so far is, when I went into the app store. The app in
discussion on this list has not been updated for almost 3 years.
Since June of 014. If I purchased the app on my IPhone 6S plus. Would
I get the prompt that the developer needs to update the app and it
could slow down your IPhone. Also, does the app work outside the U

2017-02-27 Thread David and his growing pack of dogs. Benny, no longer with us his memory lives on through
It is a good product, just the tutorial needs to be tweaked and, for
blind individuals they need to know what is going on during the video.
That can be done by changing the voice script. I used to work for a
radio station in the advertising department and was very familiar with
targeting the correct demmographics or audience. For example when
doing up a video, where your target group is blind persons, one would
not say, "Click on the icon over here or, this icon."
This concludes my brief history and is the end of instructions. LOL.

Re: New navigation device with accessibility in mind

2017-02-27 Thread David and his growing pack of dogs. Benny, no longer with us his memory lives on through
I watched and listened to the youtube video. To me, it seemed to be
targeting the sighted or low vission clientele. The blind person
introducing it seemed to be more of a shill rather then a designer.
You are correct, it should have come with discriptive video. There
were several things in the video that should have been explaned in
order to target the correct audience. Sorry, but it seemed to be
almost promoted like you would a new toy for boys to play with.

I keep getting a message from Apple encouraging me to purchase more
space for my ICloud account. Currently I am using 4.6 of my 5 Gb
space. Can the majority of information be moved to an external hard
drive? Also, is it possible that there are duplicates in my ICloud

I remember going into Best Buy for something, it was found on their
website. I paid for it and just needed to wait till it came in. It
did 4 days later, I believe. When I went to pick it up, I was told by
a sales person, "We don't sell that or have it." I commented politely,
curving back my annoyance, "Well, I paid for it here." He looked and
sure enough, he just assumed they didn't have it without bothering to
check. So, most likely when I phoned re: the adapter, the person just
never bothered to check.

Re: Re shooting a video with you in the video

2017-02-01 Thread David and his growing pack of dogs. Benny, no longer with us his memory lives on through
The video is for dog clients to see what there dog is up to on
mountain trails. I want the IPhone to record the segment of me
approaching the IPhone and walking past it with dogs. The shot would
be centralized. Apple does have an tripod designed for the IPhone 6
and up. But, one needs the adapter sold separately. It is doable
just would cost about $150. The cheaper route would be to attatch the
adapter to a tripod I use for my camcorder for shooting lectures. No,
I do not set up the shot, just set up the camera and tripod along with
the audio equipment for the F M feed to be recorded directly on the
camcorder. If I knew how to upload the video from the camcorder to a
youtube channel or email it to the client, I would just use the
camcorder to record the shot on the mountain trails for dog clients.
