Two More Silly Questions

2012-02-26 Thread Ezzie Buenito
Hello again,

Here are two more silly questions for y'all:

1) How exactly can I get signatures to be pasted at the bottom of each email?
I've created signatures, but do not see them in the option in which I would
normally select a signature.
2) Where are photos and movie clips from Photo Booth normally stored?

Thanks,
Ezzie

Re: Quick Question About Skype

2011-07-03 Thread Ezzie Buenito

Hi Colin,

I myself am trying to add phone numbers I have saved on Skype,
since I have the plan to call landlines and mobile phones. Has
anyone else figured out how to get the people with phone numbers
to show up along with the online contacts?

Thanks,
Ezzy

- Original Message -
From: "Red.Falcon" You can just have the online contacts showing without the offline
ones!
But You'll have to change from Skype tab to Address tab for your
phone contacts!

I could not see any way to have both at the same time!
To get the Skype contacts online only press the contacts monitor
button!

Questions About VMWARE Fusion

2011-06-30 Thread Ezzie Buenito

Hi all,

After viewing many of your discussions, I've decided to try
running Windows on my Macbook Pro with Fusion. The questions I
have are as follows:

1. When I select VMWARE Fusion on the finder, can I install JAWS
at that point?

2. Which key will be the Windows key?
3. How do I switch back to the Mac operating system?
4. When I start up the computer, which operating system will
start up by default?

someone's preference. I think you get boot camp with your Mac

Hi Doug,

Thank you for all of your suggestions. The problem is that the

From: Doug Lawlor Has VoiceOver gotten turned off by mistake? Try turning the Mac

turning VO back on with command F5. Has the system volume gotten
turned down or muted somehow? Try pressing f10 or if you have the
function keys set to perform software functions, press fn+f10 to
see if the system is muted. You should hear the volume sound when
the system is unmuted. Is system volume turned down? F11 turns
volume down and F12 turns it up.

Just some things to check.

OK no problem with your message!
1. go to facebook.com and go to your account!
2. open account settings and select change user name [ even if
you do not

have one]
3. Facebook should give you some options and just after them will
be a more

link select it!
4. Now after the options Facebook gives you [I did not like my
suggestions]

there is a edit box where you can put your own name!
There is a see if name is available button after you put your
choice, if it

is available you can have it!
If not try another or add a number to the end! [ it might help]
5. When your happy come out of Facebook and open Adium!
6. In Adium on your contacts window open vo+m and go to the file
menu!
7. Scroll down to add new account sub menu and arrow right, go
down to

Jabber and select it!
8. In the new account window is where you'll find those tabs, the
first one
should be selected just scroll past until you get to where you
put your new

user name!
When you've entered it the next field is your Facebook password!
9. After filling those in go back to the options tab select and
scroll to
where you put the server name [ as you correctly said ]
chat.facebook.com

and enter it!
10. go to register new account button and press it!
And you should be done! :]
Also the post I got this from [ cannot find it] said to remove
your old

Facebook account the one already in Adium!
Makes sense not going to be using it anymore!
So I hope that was useful!
Please get back to the list if you still need help!

Where should I create the new user: on Facebook.com or adium?

You mean chat.facebook.com in stead off chatfacebook.com?
and, I see no options tab in the preferences of adium.
only: accounts, global, personal, view, messages, state, events,
filetransfer and advanced.
(it's translated from dutch so I hope you understand).
Thx alot for your response,

Hi William!
Have you done the set new user for jabber!
If not You'll need to set up a user name [if you haven't
already] in your

facebook account!
Then in Adium set up a new user under Jabber!
When you go go into the fields put your new facebook user name
in the box

and your facebook password!
And under [I think] the options tab you have to put
chatfacebook.com then

set your new account!
And you should be good to go!
If you have already done this and you've got that problem I
cannot help!

I had the problem with the last beta-version but also with the

Are there any workarounds are solutions for this?

Also, my ichat is configured for Facebook too so I can also chat

this.
But, I prefer adium since you can hear the texts of incoming

I am wondering if you could configure ichat or install a plugin

ichat so that you can hear the text of the incoming messages

Perhaps this will change with the new ichat of lion but, if
possible, I

Any solutions or comments are very welcome.

Hello Everyone,

I believe its possible to make ringtones on a Mac. Can I send
those to any phone or do I specifically need to have an iPhone?
How exactly can I make a ringtone? How exactly do I send them to
a phone?

Any help is appreciated.

You can download PianoPub free at www.chicksdigmacs.net. I

Hi Ricardo,
The app was called Pyrcast, and sadly it is no longer available.
Pandora served them a cease and desist order. I would trust that

on, usually takes no more than a day or two to deal with
occasional Pandora protocol changes.

If so, what was this app called. Thanks.

From: carolyn Haas If you're using a macbook pro, and have your FN key set to
perform hardware functions, you would employ the FN-key with the
arrows, with FN-left arrow for home, FN-right arrow for end,
FN-up and FN-down arrows respectively for pageup and page down.

App Store Questions

2011-06-01 Thread Ezzie Buenito

Hello Listers,

How exactly can one tell whether apps are accessible with VO?
When I tried getting money back for an app, I filled out the form
with my email address and such. Despite me filling out
everything, the form was sent back to me when I clicked submit,
asking me to fill in all required fields. Am I missing
something?
