 -Jessica,
Maybe I should first suggest another option. I took a quick look at
Windows 11 on Amazon. One option is to buy for $139 and download then you
can out it on a thumb drive though I don't know how big it is. Or, buy a
PC. I saw an HP model for $189. If you want to look into getting a PC,
there are other brands too like Dell.

For NVDA here is the web site. It will give you the download button with
the "no donation" button already selected.

 https://www.nvaccess.org/download/

  Here is the VMware site.

 https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_fusion/13_0

VMware Fusion Player 13 is the latest. If you choose to go this route and
not a PC, you can install this using Voiceover. You can run it and look at
its settings etc. Once you get a Windows ISO (image file) you can install
 it into Fusion.

You might want some sihted help after this to put the NVDA file on the
Windows desktop. When you clock it, it will come up talking.

  I hope this helps!

Absolutely there’s already an IT ticket open and I have somebody following
this. We had already started to do a search and destroy on inaccessible
captures and somehow this one didn’t make it on our list.

I will post just as soon as it’s fixed. Next week is VMworld and we may have an
IT moratorium on changes. So it might be the week after.

Hi folx,

Been lurking on this group for a couple of months. I was VMware's first
accessibility manager and have recently moved into an accessibility
architect role. There are a significant number of accessibility
improvements in the new releases of Player, Workstation, and Fusion. Here
are the links.

https://my.vmware.com/en/web/vmware/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_fusion/12_0

https://my.vmware.com/en/web/vmware/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_workstation_pro/16_0

https://my.vmware.com/en/web/vmware/downloads/info/slug/desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_workstation_player/16_0

We will be doing user research with screen reader users on these products
in the November-January timeframe. If you are interested in participating,
please ping me at sbyrnehaber at vmware dot com. You can also connect with
me on LinkedIn, the session dates will be announced there as well.

Thanks,
