RE: Microsoft outlook on the Mac

2020-07-01 Thread hermanfermin
Please share this feedback with Microsoft Outlook. The auto-completion works
fine in Apple Mail and in Spotlight. Although accessibility for Outlook on the
Mac has come a long way, this is one particular area where it is really
lacking. Especially when as a keyboard only user, you do not have to jump to a
completely different window in order to get to your choices/options to fill in.
A keyboard only user just arrows up and down to get those choices and hits
enter on the one that is desired.

That would be a fab script if you could make it happen I have just started
using outlook as it is useful to schedule teams meetings where you are inviting
others as it puts the link straight in to the invite but it is a little clunky
to keep switching windows when adding multiple recipients to messages etc

RE: Using selective sync in dropbox?

2019-06-10 Thread hermanfermin
That is a temporary work around. That is not an acceptable solution though.
Please don’t let dropbox tech support lead you remotely to that as a possible
solution. Especially when you are able to do this independently on other
platforms.

I would start the process by asking for an update regarding this since as of
six months ago, it was escalated to engineering for a fix. In the meantime,
Phil’s suggestions if you don’t want to wait for Dropbox to get back to you,
are absolutely doable.

Isn’t there a “select all“ button somewhere in that selective sync screen? I
believe we all had a workaround about this where you could simply select all,
and then go through the list hitting on the ones you don’t want to sync.
Another potential workaround is to use Be My Eyes app. People there would love
to help you know which folders are selected and which aren’t as you move down
the list and select and deselect folders.

Hello.

I have been wanting to selectively synch specific folders, but not others, for
a long time, too. Is there a specific person at Dropbox to whom we can address
this question, or should we just use supp...@dropbox.com
, provided that email address exists?

Thanks,

Mike

At the moment, you can’t. Or at least, VoiceOver does not tell you the state
whether the folder is checked or unchecked. Please report it to the dropbox
support so perhaps they will actually do something about it. They definitely
are aware. That has been broken for quite awhile.

Hi folks.

I've been trying to figure this out.

On the windows side of dropbox, you can check, and uncheck, the folders you
don't want synced to your computer.

I can't seem to figure out how to do this on the mac side.
