Re: Query about 10.6.1 update
Hello Jean-Christophe, Whatever anyone may claim, I looked at the version of flash installed on my MacBook and it wasn't the latest version. It is now, however, because I updated it manually. I've also discovered what changes the size of the update, it all depends on what you installed with Snow Leopard. I did a straightforward install, whereas my husband installed all possible printer drivers. My update was 9.8 MB and his was 75 MB. He also has all the developer tools, etc. Cheers, Anne On Sep 13, 2009, at 4:03 PM, JC Helary wrote: > > Anne, > > According to: > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3810 > and > http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ > > The Flash plugin that comes with 10.6.1 is the latest version > available on Mac. > > On 13 sept. 2009, at 22:25, Anne Robertson wrote: > >> >> Hello James, >> >> No, it didn't update the Flash player plugin. Re: Query about 10.6.1 update
Anne, According to: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3810 and http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ The Flash plugin that comes with 10.6.1 is the latest version available on Mac. Hello James, My 10.6.1 update was 9.8 MB. I imagine the larger update would be for developers, or maybe it includes other updates. But what matters is that your About This Mac window shows "10.6.1" after install. Query about 10.6.1 update
Hi folks, >From what I've read the update is 75MB but the update I just downloaded from software update is only about 10MB. Does anyone know why? I will go to the Apple website and get the 75MB update but I was just curious to know why the update was smaller than previously stated. 10.6.1
It seems that it was released yesterday. As per usual, there is no mention of VO but fixes in Mail are mentioned as is the Flash issue.
