Hi,

I have a few basic mail questions. This is in the latest OS.

First I need to know the commands that will allow navigating to go to
the very top & very bottom of the messages in the in-box.

Second, what command will perform a mass deletion of messages in the
in-box? Both of these are on a laptop so keep in mind the computer doesn’t
have a numeric keypad.

Thanks for the help.

table to get to the top or bottom of the list.

Hi,

If you're using a laptop, you can use VO-fn-left or VO-fn-right arrow. The
addition of the FN key should change the left arrow to a "Home" and the right
arrow to a "End".

Hi!
Try option command left arrow and option command right arrow to go to top or
bottom.
You can use the shift key in conjunction with these keys to if you want to mark
mails and remove them.
Otherwise use arrow up or down with the shift key to mark the mails you want to
remove.
Hope this helps.

2016-12-04 Thread Christopher-Mark Gilland
Interact with the messages table. Command+A to select all, then hit delete.

To get to the top and bottom of the message table, or any! table for that mind,
option+up arrow, and to go to the bottom, Option+up arrow.

Or, refer to the lesson I did in our classes on how to move to the top and
bottom of a window. Just be sure you're interacting first with the table before
hitting the command.

Hi!
Try option command left arrow and option command right arrow to go to top or
bottom.
You can use the shift key in conjunction with these keys to if you want to mark
mails and remove them.
Otherwise use arrow up or down with the shift key to mark the mails you want to
remove.
Hope this helps.

A Few Basic Mail Questions.

2016-12-04 Thread Eileen Scrivani
Hi,

I have a few basic mail questions. This is in the latest OS.

First I need to know the commands that will allow navigating to go to the very
top & very bottom of the messages in the in-box.

Second, what command will perform a mass deletion of messages in the in-box?
Both of these are on a laptop so keep in mind the computer doesn’t have a
numeric keypad.

Thanks for the help.

Eileen
