adium problem

2011-05-27 Thread matthew Dyer on Mac Mini
Hi all,

I had a problem in which I had to start from scrach with my program prefs. I
have a problem now whare my adium is not showing the messages when my
girlfriend sends me onede. She sees me online but I can not see her online. I
thought I had it fixed lastnight when I somehow had her blocked. at least that
was fixed last night. now when she sends me messages I can not find the chat
window. It does not show up anyware. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Adium problem with requests

2010-12-01 Thread Nicolai Svendsen
Hi!

What messages do you need sounds for? New messages? In that case, just add a
sound to the group chat event. That applies to IRC as well as regular group
chats when you invite multiple people into conversations. The same applies to
speaking text. I use this method constantly when using IRC, and I have had no
issues so far. You may consider that option.

Adium problem

2010-11-15 Thread Daniel Rowe
Hi all,
for some reason,Adium has started acting strangely.

More often than not, the vO cursor will get stuck in the message history
window. This happens when I'm moving between messages, and it'll randomly stick
on one and nothing I can do will move it. It's like it finds invisible window
boarders
I'm not accidentally interacting with the text of a message.
I'm running the latest stable version of Adium under Mac OS 10.6.5 with the
latest version of Safari and Webkit.
Has anyone come across this problem and have any work arounds?
Thanks in advance,

Dannie.

yeah same thing is happening to me. Maybe try emailing feedb...@adium.im and
telling them about it. I cannot reproduce this all the time but when it does
happen it is annoying!
