Hi! Airdrop appears when you want to share something like picture or a document. You just select the person who you want to send the file from a list and tab on it, then the file you are sharing goes to that person. It is really cool. The version for iOS will only let you transfer between other Airdrop-enabled iOS devices. If you have enabled Airdrop, you can transfer data from some of the apps that have sharing ability such as Contacts and Safari.
