Regarding the voice changing I’m not sure what might be causing that. So far as 
the preamble of directions, I think that if you turn off hints that might 
correct the annoying rambling in the Amazon app. There is a roter, at least on 
my Apple TV, and turning on/off hints is one of the items I can dial to and the 
flick up/down to change it from on/off.

start the Amazon app the voice changes completely. Totally different voice
