Re: Boot from Windows disc in Fusion
Hi ET, Theoretically yes you should be able to do it. You would have to have the vm start offf the ISO image of the windows installation media and then enterrr into the recovery mode of windows. I haven’t doen this myself but it should be able to be done. I did put a windows 10 vm into the boot options the other day but I still can’t figure out how I did it. But what is it you need to do with in the vm that neds to be done in recovery? Re: Boot from Windows disc in Fusion
I don't have Fusion, so I can't help there. You'll have to boot the ISO image, then try to invoke Microsoft Narrator with Windows-Ctrl-Enter - however that maps to your Apple keyboard. Next time, I suggest keeping snapshots so that if anything becomes corrupt, you can quickly revert to a known working version. I don't know whether Fusion can do this, but it probably can. I've used KVM under Linux, a virtualization tool that can definitely do this. On 8/2/18, 20:23, "'E.T.' via MacVisionaries" wrote: Just to clarify, I need to access the Windows 7 repair option.
