Re: Clearing notifications from multiple devices at the same time

2018-11-27 Thread Jonathan Cohn
One other case is the reminders app if you snooze or mark complete a reminder
it gets removed from notifications on other systems. I wonder about Facebook,
since it has a notification on the web that gets zero'd when I look at my
facebook notifications on the phone. So, I believe that any app can clear its
notification.
Best wishes,

Jonathan Cohn

Re: Clearing notifications from multiple devices at the same time

2018-11-27 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

I'm not sure that can be done. Notifications tend to be device specific. That
is, you can have different notifications and notification styles on each of
your devices. I realize that the Messages app does seem to handle things in
the way you're hoping, but that's the only app I can think of that works in
that manner.

Clearing notifications from multiple devices at the same time

2018-11-27 Thread Mary Otten
I wonder if there is a setting somewhere that I am missing which would enable
me to clear a notification from one device, and having done so, not see that
notification on any other devices. It’s kind of annoying to have to make
duplicate notification clear out. And since everything syncs in the cloud, I’m
wondering why this is not possible. So I hope I’m just missing a Settings
somewhere.
