Hi:
Welcome to the mac! When you get to the link, press control, option, shift, m,
this will bring up a menu and you can select the option to save the file to
your hard drive as an MP3.
Hope this helps!

Re: Downloading MP3 files

2010-03-29 Thread John André Netland
Hey Martin, try this:

When on the link that starts playing the audio, press control-option-shift-M
and you should get a menu. Use your arrow keys to navigate down to Download
Linked File, and the download should start. You will find the file in the
Downloads folder in your (user name) folder.

Another solution is to search for the RSS stream in itunes, and download a
particular or all new episodes from there. In that case, your download will be
found in the Podcast folder inside your (Username)/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media
folder.

Hope this helps,
John André in Norway

Downloading MP3 files

2010-03-29 Thread M BROWN
Hello everyone. I am new to the Mac. I have been trying to download an MP3 file
from Blind Cool Tec. However, unlike windows, I am not given the option to open
or download. The file just begins to play. I have looked at all the menu
options, and there would not seem to be one for saving the file to my hard
drive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
