Re: Erasing The BootCamp Disk and Restoring The Macintosh HD To A Single Disk

2014-10-06 Thread Eileen Misrahi
Hello,

Hmm. I would if I could. I forgot to mention in the post that oqtion is not
available. When I open the BootCamp Assistant, I make sure that the first 2
checkboxes are unchecked, but the checkbox to install or remove Windows 7 or
higher is dimmed. So, now I'm left with no alternative. I receive an alert that
I can't partition the start disk to install nor can I remove Windows to make
the OS a single partition. So, that's the rest of the story and I have no
option (I think) to get rid of the BootCamp partition and place that amount of
specified storage back into the main Macintosh startup HD. If others have some
suggestions on how to resolve this, send them my way.

Thanks.

Best,
Eileen

Erasing The BootCamp Disk and Restoring The Macintosh HD To A Single Disk

2014-10-05 Thread Eileen Misrahi
Helllo,

I have been told that if I erase the bootcamp disk that the memory would go
back into the OS start up disk or my Macintosh HD. I have gone into the disk
utility and I can select the disk to erase, but when I VO-RIGHT arrow or tab to
the target edit field it asks for me to drag and drop from the list on the left
side. Of course, I am unable to visualize where the list exists or if drag and
drop works with VO. I'm about to call Apple support on this, but if others have
gone through the process of putting the allotted GB storage back on to the
start up Macintosh HD, I would appreciate some assistance and instructions on
how to accomplish this task.

Thanks in advance.

Best,
Eileen
