Re: Has anyone ever used www.dau.mil?

2013-07-04 Thread Daniel C
In Safari, go under Preferences.
Find and select, advanced.
Under advanced, Check the checkbox which says: Show develop menu under menu bar.
*You may have to restart the browser for the new menu to show.
Once the check box is checked, in any Safari browser window, navigate to the
develop menu, user agent, and select Internet Explorer 9.
You'll have to always go through the process of selecting a different browser
to display in, as this is a session-specific thing, for each browser window.
Hope that helps.

Thank you, no, I have not tried that. I did not even know that was an option.
How would I go about doing that?
Thanks again.

Has anyone ever used www.dau.mil?

2013-07-04 Thread Randy George
Hi Everyone,

As part of my position with the government I m required to take certain online
courses through www.dau.mil. These courses have activities/assessments that
must be completed prior to moving to the next step in the process. Most of the
information is completely accessible; however I have reached a point that I am
not able to get past. This is what happens.
I can not interact with the flash content at all; and from what I am being
told, it is just a multiple choice question with radial buttons.
I have updated both my flash player as well as my java.

I'm thinking this site may only be set up for internet explorer and netscape as
for some reason the military still thinks netscape is a viable option.

If this is the case, could anyone recommend a good tutorial on how to
successfully instal and use windows on a macbook pro running os 10?

Thanks so much.
Randy The page has three frames; two with information and the third is a flash
frame.
Upt until now this flash frame has been working fine; however, this one fram is
telling me "loading flash content" but nothing is happening.
