Re: How to select items to be moved

2020-12-10 Thread Brad Snyder
I was wrong.
I just tried it using the Mail app on Catalina, and I was able to select
multiple items using the same method as described for selecting multiple items
in Finder.

Re: How to select items to be moved

2020-12-10 Thread Lorie McCloud
are you talking about noncontiguous items?
for that, open the folder containing the items you want to copy or move then
interact. vo-arrow down to the first item you want to select. press
vo-command-return on it. continue in that way till all desired items have been
selected. if the items you want are all together then it's a simple matter of
holding down the shift key as you arrow down through them.

How to select items to be moved

2020-12-09 Thread kc8pdx via MacVisionaries
Greetings All,

After an absence of a few years from the Mac environment, I now am stepping
back in; or at least trying.

My new MacBook Air arrived and I am trying to figure out how to select items
in one folder to be moved to another. Something has changed since my High
Sierra days.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Most cordially,

Larry W. Honaker
