Hi, I'm trying to run Itunes from my Time Capsule so as not to clog my Macbook's hd up with loads of music.
I read on one of the mac forhams that to do this I need to copy my Itunes library to my Time Capsule, then create an alias, move that back to the original location and make sure the word alias doesn't appear in the file name and all will work fine and dandy. So i tried copyng my Itunes library to the Time Capsule and low and behold I get a message to say I don't have permision to do this. I'm logged on to the Mac as the administrator so thought this was unusual. I then did vo shift m, arrowed to get info, moved to the sharing tab and tried to give myself permision under my user name of Graham Roby and keep getting the message this name is not valid. Can anyone please give me any pointers as to where I'm going wrong? Many thanks for any advice in advance.
