Mail on the MacBook Air
Hello all, I'm fairly new to the Mac and am having a hard time reading threaded conversations in email. I'm not sure how to open the threaded message. If I get a single message I can do a VO J and get to the message content, I can do this on a threaded message as well, but, don't know how to get from one conversation to the next. I know this is probably a very basic question, but I'd greatly appreciate your help. Many thanks, Katey Sent from my iPad -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Re: Mail on the MacBook Air
Go to preferences in mail and turn threads off. It makes reading mail so much easier. Re: Mail on the MacBook Air
Hi Katey, When you're on the threaded conversation in the messages list, press Command-O to open the message. To move to another message in that conversation, press VO-SHIFT-UP ARROW to stop interacting, then move left or right with VO-Left or VO-Right until you get to the other message you want to read, then interact with VO-SHIFT-DOWN ARROW. You can also keep quick nav off, and choose to expand/collapse conversations with left and right arrow, respectively. then you just vo+J to read the message text, vo+J to the message list, and up or down to go through the conversation as necessary. Good luck! Re: Mail on the MacBook Air
Hello Nick Rachel, Thank you both for your helpful hints, I'm slowly getting used to reading my listserv mails on my mac. If you are seeing this that means I was successful in actually replying to my first message.
