Hi. Bootcamp should already be on your mac in the utilities folder.

Keep in mind that once you set your partition sizes, you can't change them once
windows is installed.

Hi. My bootcamp installs have never effected my mac OS partition. I
don't know who told you about that but I've never experienced any
issues.

The bootcamp and windows ten installs are pretty painless although I
did have to use ira to start the windows installation. after that
though, you can use a USB headset and run narrator to complete the
setup process.

Cameron.

RE: Need windows sometimes but still has bad relationship with VMware,

2018-09-26 Thread Simon Fogarty
I'm using bootcamp on a mac mini at work everyday and it's stable as a straight
windows machine.

Can't see problems within it.

Or just simply use virtual box,

I think it's lacking quality like fusion but it's useable so long as you get
assistance setting up the initial vm.

Hi. I run windows ten 64 bit via bootcamp and have had very little trouble. Why
not give that a shot? Also, remember that when you're running a virtual
machine, it is splitting resources with both operating systems. If you boot
into one OS at a time, you don't have this issue.

Hi:

I can use NVDA but i have some Jaws scripts that Make me use jaws to do some
things , like writing Music notes using Sibelius Program.

So, do you think that VMware 10 is better than 8 that i have concerning those

Re: Need windows sometimes but still has bad relationship with VMware,

2018-09-25 Thread 'E.T.' via MacVisionaries

Ramy,
Ever think about trying NVDA? I run Windows 7 in Fusion 10.x in full
screen mode. Most problems I have comes from hitting non Windows
commands which puts me in Mac. If I need to switch between Windows and
Mac, I do it carefully but sometimes to be safe I will shut Windows down.

VMware itself is not an issue. Perhaps version 10 may work more
smoothly but version 11 was just released so if you upgrade to Mojave
10.14 you might install version 11 then. I will be upgrading to Mojave
next week.

Hi. I run windows ten 64 bit via bootcamp and have had very little
trouble. Why not give that a shot? Also, remember that when you're
running a virtual machine, it is splitting resources with both
operating systems. If you boot into one OS at a time, you don't have
this issue.
