RE: Outlook for Mac Exhange Server Archives
Hi mark, I'm sitting here at my windows machine currently but from memory in outlook for mac there is not an option to bulk download your attachments I thought / think there is an option to do this in mac mail which should also work fine now with exchange if you are running an up to date mac os and mac mail with it. Exchange interaction with mac mail is dam good now Otherwise I'm not sure I understand what it is you're trying to do. Is it that you wish to move all your attachments in to a cloud storage environment off your machines storage or that you want to get all your attachments out of your exchange mail box and in to a cloud storage area that wont effect your exchange mail boxes quota -Original Message- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Marc Liles Sent: Thursday, 2 July 2020 9:14 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Outlook for Mac Exhange Server Archives Hello All. I am moving from an exchange Server access through Outlook for Mac. How can I achieve emails , contacts, etc to my local or cloud drives? Also is there a way to download (Batch download) files attached to the emails? Thanks in advance for any insight. Re: Outlook for Mac Exhange Server Archives
Hello, Macintosh Mail, Contacts Notes calendars and reminders can all sync to some level with Microsoft 365 exchange servers. I believe they also work with older Exchange servers. So for my work Macintosh, I use Outlook for interaction, but also went into Internet accounts and set up an Exchange account that receives Contacts, Calendars and Reminders. This way I get the superior notifications from the Macintosh application and also can use the Microsoft platform for changing items hopefully avoiding some of the situation where Macs did not quite meet the exchange protocols. Re: Outlook for Mac
Hi George, That is not correct. Microsoft just last month released a new version of Outlook for Mac. It is this latest version which is accessible. Is Outlook 2011 the accessible version or is there something more recent? Please could someone let me know where I can get hold of whichever version I need?
